Jacqueline Claire Matheson is an artist and volunteer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Claire explores a variety of artistic forms; her primary focus lies in painting (acrylic on canvas), line drawings (ink), and collage -  combining small canvases for large impact. Claire has been a student at the Toronto School of Art, where she studied painting, drawing and collage, and she continues to refine her skills with ongoing studio classes.

 

Claire has had her paintings featured in community art shows, including the Artists’ Network Gallery Streetcar Art Exhibition, and the Lakeshore Art Trail, and has sold numerous commissions for portraits of dogs, cats, birds, horses and the occasional rabbit. Claire's artwork has been featured in a collection of totes with Guava Pussy Zine, and annually through the SNAP Community art show at Montgomery Inn
